When was the last time someone from your "home office" visited you?
Just to say "Hello."
- Meet Mike Seager. Mike owns a condo in Hollywood Beach, but the staff of NSS jokes that
he's homeless. The truth is Mike spends almost all of his time on the road seeing,
meeting, and assisting the agents who write bail through NSS. He shares bail stories and
stays up on on current events and pending legislation that might affect all of us.
- Mike is a Florida licensed surety agent and serves as a liaison between the company and
our team of agents. He also carries all the supplies we can fit in his bright red Honda
and takes agent reports that are ready to mail and replaces powers on the spot. Mike also
plays a mean round of golf. All in the line of duty.
Has this ever happened to you?
- An NSS agent recently lost two key employees to one of those "fly-by-night"
bail companies that promise gullible folks who write bail the sun and the moon and the
stars. It left him temporarily short handed. Mike literally moved into this agent's
office. He answered the phones, wrote bonds and did whatever our agent needed to help him
over the hump. By the way our agent did get over it, with Mike's help. As for the
employees that left for "greener" pastures? They're both sending out
resumes, last we heard.
-
Why does NSS have a full-time field representative?
- It's not inexpensive keeping Mike Seager on the road full-time. Yet he's worth it to our
agents. A better question might be: why doesn't your company have a Mike Seager?
By the way, you can page Mike anytime at 1(800) 607-6830. He'll return your call promptly
and be happy to buy you a cup of coffee next time he's in your town. Which will be no
doubt be much sooner than someone from your "home" office gets by to visit.
